FAQs

What is your shipping policy? Ready-to-ship pieces are processed within 3–5 business days. Made-to-order pieces require 4–6 weeks for crafting before shipment. All orders are shipped with carrier insurance and require a signature upon delivery. Complimentary shipping is available on U.S. and Canada orders over $500. What is your return policy? Because most of our pieces are made to order, we are generally unable to accept returns. Select ready-to-ship earrings, necklaces, and bracelets may be eligible for return or exchange within 15 days of delivery, provided they are unworn and in original packaging. Rings are not eligible for return due to their custom-sized nature. If we made an error with your order, we will make it right — contact us at support@yaremajewelry.com. What if my item arrives damaged? If your piece arrives damaged, contact us within 72 hours of confirmed delivery at support@yaremajewelry.com with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund based on the circumstances.


What if my package is lost or delayed? All Yarema Jewelry shipments are insured through our carrier. If your tracking shows no confirmed delivery and you believe your package is lost in transit, contact us at support@yaremajewelry.com with your order number and we will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. Claim outcomes are subject to the carrier's investigation and terms of coverage. Once delivery is confirmed as signed and received, we are unable to accept responsibility for packages reported missing after that point.


Can I customize my order? Yes. We welcome custom requests, including modifications to existing designs, alternative metal choices, stone substitutions, and engraving. To discuss your vision, email us at support@yaremajewelry.com with the subject line "Customization." We'll confirm feasibility and timeline before any work begins.


What metals do you use? All Yarema Jewelry pieces are crafted in solid 14k or 18k gold — never plated or filled. Select pieces are also available in platinum. You will always find the specific metal and karat listed in each product description.


How should I care for my jewelry?

Gold pieces: Solid 14k and 18k gold is durable and will not tarnish under normal wear. Clean gently every 2–3 weeks with warm water and a soft cloth. Avoid exposure to bleach, which can permanently discolor gold. Use caution with lotions, perfumes, and oils, as chemical reactions — while uncommon — can affect surface finish over time.

Gemstone pieces: Emeralds, sapphires, diamonds, and other precious and semi-precious stones require extra care. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners unless confirmed safe for your specific stone. Emeralds in particular are often treated with oils or resins and should not be soaked in water or exposed to harsh chemicals. Even diamonds, despite their hardness, can chip along the grain under sharp impact. When not wearing your piece, store it separately to prevent scratching.

General: Remove your jewelry before swimming, exercising, or sleeping to extend its life and preserve its finish.

How do I find my ring size? We recommend getting sized by a local jeweler for the most accurate measurement — this is especially important before ordering, as rings are not eligible for return or exchange. You can also reference our Ring Size Guide for at-home sizing options.

Ring availability varies by size depending on the piece. Some styles are offered in both full and half sizes, while others are available in full sizes only. Size availability is listed in each product description. If you have a specific size request or are unsure whether your size is available in a particular design, contact us at support@yaremajewelry.com before purchasing.


What is the difference between ready-to-ship and made-to-order? Ready-to-ship pieces are finished and in stock — they ship within 3–5 business days of your order. Made-to-order pieces are crafted specifically for you after your order is placed and require 4–6 weeks before shipment. Each product listing clearly indicates which category it falls into, as this also affects return eligibility. Ready-to-ship pieces may qualify for return or exchange; made-to-order pieces generally do not.


Do you offer a warranty, repairs, or resizing?

Warranty: All Yarema Jewelry pieces are covered by a 180-day limited warranty against craftsmanship defects from the date of delivery. This covers structural defects in the metalwork — such as broken clasps, loose settings, or failed solder joints — that arise under normal wear. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, improper care, or normal wear and tear such as surface scratches or finish dulling.

To make a warranty claim, contact us at support@yaremajewelry.com with your order number and photos of the defect. We will assess the issue and arrange a repair or replacement at our discretion.

Repairs & Resizing: We offer complimentary repairs and ring resizing on Yarema Jewelry pieces. To request a repair or resizing, email us at support@yaremajewelry.com with your order number and a description of what is needed. Please note that resizing availability may depend on the design and metal of the piece — we will confirm feasibility before proceeding. Customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from our studio.
