Warranty
Yarema Jewelry Limited Warranty
Our Commitment
Every Yarema Jewelry piece is crafted in solid 14k or 18k gold and made to last. We stand behind the quality of our work. This Limited Warranty reflects our commitment to the craftsmanship of every piece that leaves our studio.
What This Warranty Covers
Yarema Jewelry warrants all pieces against defects in materials and craftsmanship for 180 days from the confirmed delivery date of your order.
Covered defects include structural failures that arise under normal wearing conditions, such as:
- Broken or failed clasps, hinges, or jump rings
- Failed solder joints or seam separations
- Loose stones resulting from a documented defect in the setting — such as a failed prong, collapsed bezel, or improperly closed setting — identified and reported within the warranty period
- Structural failures in prongs, bezels, or other stone-securing elements
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear, including surface scratches, finish dulling, or metal patina
- Accidental damage, misuse, or improper care
- Exposure to chemicals, including bleach, cleaning agents, chlorine, or harsh cosmetics
- Lost stones of any kind, regardless of size or value. While we warrant against defective settings that cause stones to become loose, we are unable to verify the circumstances under which a stone has gone missing after delivery. If a stone is loose but still present, contact us immediately so we can assess and address the setting defect
- Damage caused by impact, including chipping or fracturing of gemstones
- Repairs, alterations, or resizing performed by any jeweler or party other than Yarema Jewelry — any third-party modification voids this warranty
- Damage caused during shipping after confirmed delivery
This warranty does not cover normal characteristics of natural gemstones, including variations in color, inclusions, or surface texture, which are inherent to natural materials and not defects.
Protecting Your Investment
We strongly recommend insuring all Yarema Jewelry pieces — particularly those containing diamonds or precious gemstones — through a dedicated jewelry insurance provider such as Jewelers Mutual, or through a jewelry rider on your existing homeowner's or renter's insurance policy. Personal jewelry insurance covers scenarios this warranty does not, including lost stones, theft, accidental damage, and mysterious disappearance. Our team is happy to provide purchase documentation to support an insurance application upon request.
Warranty Eligibility
This warranty applies exclusively to the original purchaser of the piece and is non-transferable. It does not extend to pieces purchased secondhand, gifted after resale, or acquired through any party other than Yarema Jewelry directly.
Proof of purchase — your original order confirmation or order number — is required to make a warranty claim.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, contact us at support@yaremajewelry.com within your 180-day warranty period with the following:
- Your full name and order number
- A clear description of the defect
- Photographs of the defect and the piece as a whole
Do not ship your piece before receiving written authorization from our team. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
Once your claim is reviewed and approved, we will provide return shipping instructions. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to our studio. Return shipping of the repaired or replaced piece back to you will be covered by Yarema Jewelry.
Remedies
Upon receipt and inspection of your piece, Yarema Jewelry will, at its discretion, determine the appropriate remedy in the following order:
- Repair of the defective piece
- Replacement with an identical or equivalent piece if repair is not possible
- Store credit equal to the original purchase price if neither repair nor replacement is available
Please allow 4–6 weeks from the date we receive your piece for repair or replacement to be completed. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking once your piece is on its way back to you.
Limitation of Liability
This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Yarema Jewelry. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Yarema Jewelry disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Yarema Jewelry's liability under this warranty is limited to the remedies described above and shall not exceed the original purchase price of the piece.
Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Warranty terms are subject to change for future purchases. Your warranty coverage is determined by the terms in effect at the time of your original purchase.
